I started Taj Meow Cattery, firstly, because of the times I picked up my feline friend from a Cat Boarding service, only to discover that she hadn’t been brushed or patted, or spent any time out of the cat enclosure. It made me very sad to think my curious and playful feline friend had experienced this environment, as well as missing her big cat friend, (that’s’ me of course). And secondly because I really am a self-confessed “Crazy Cat Lady”.

I eventually found a lovely little private boutique cattery that was everything a cat lover would want for their pet and have modelled Taj Meow Cattery on this service.

Taj Meow is a small private hobby business where I care for every feline as I do my own precious puss. Your dear feline will have an experience tailored to their specific likes and dislikes, as well as ensuring that they are feeling secure, comfortable, and relaxed. The individual attention, grooming and play time cats receive at Taj Meow increases their happiness and health, so you can have your holiday stress free.

All cat guests must have a Veterinary Certificate of Immunisation and provide proof of a flea treatment within 1 week of the booking commencement.

Terms & Conditions – Taj Meow Cattery (TMC)

Veterinary Care, Health, and Vaccinations
Should your cat become ill during the Taj Meow stay, The Yankalilla Veterinary Clinic will be consulted for treatment. In an emergency, the owner agrees that veterinary treatment may be sought without prior consultation or consent. The Vet fees are payable over the Phone by the owner directly to the vet clinic.

All cats must be fully vaccinated within the past 12 months and at least 10 days prior to start of stay. A valid Vaccination Certificate must be sighted. Your cat will not be accommodated without this documentation. A flea treatment must be administered in the week prior to commencing the booking.

All male cats over the age of five months must be neutered. A health check will be conducted before check-in is completed, cats showing signs of ill health will not be accommodated.

Medication
TMC is happy to discuss administering any medication for your cat which has been prescribed by a vet.

Food Menu
Premium, Veterinary dry food, such as Royal Canin, Hills Science and Purina are provided unless otherwise directed by the owner. Fresh free range chicken mince or a selection of wet food pouches are also served. TMC is happy to give alternative prescription food if provided by the owner.

Additional treatments at no additional fee.
Grooming, play in the enclosed outdoor garden, one on one play, a variety of cat toys to entertain, are all included in the boarding fee.

Boarding Fees and Payment
Fees are charged for each night of stay, provided the booking is within the drop off and pick up times allocated. Early check in or late check out fees may apply, depending on cabin capacity.
Nightly fee $30.00 for one cat, up to 14 days (2 night minimum stay)
Nightly fee for more than 14 days is $27.00 per night
Nightly fee for more than 28 days is $25.00 per night
The fee for additional cats is $20.00 per night regardless of length of stay.

Long stays of more than 28 days are offered a complimentary transport home service, so you can really relax after your journey (within a 50kms) with puss delivered to your door.

To hold your booking request, a non-refundable deposit of $60.00 is payable by direct deposit, the balance is due in cash at check in. Receipts are issued. No credit card facilities are available.

Drop off and pick up times.
Between 8.00am to 10.00am pickup and 4.00pm to 6.00pm drop-off, (May be negotiated).

Disclaimer
Cat Guests are boarded at the sole risk of their owners. Whilst every care will be taken Taj Meow Cattery cannot be liable for illness, injury, or death of any cat in their care.

In the event of your cat not being collected within 14 days of the agreed check out date, and no communication has been received from the owner a decision to re home your cat will be made at the discretion of Taj Meow Cattery. Taj Meow Cattery is fully insured through Biz Cover, full details are available on request.

Viewings

Booking Policy
By paying the $60 non-refundable deposit, you are confirming your booking and you are agreeing to Taj Meow Cattery Terms and Conditions. If you need to change the booking dates, the deposit is transferable to the new booking, provided the new dates are available.
